Students will have access to online course spaces three days prior to the start date. It is normal for your enrollment to appear as "disabled" before that time.
Every student is given a Parkland email account. If you aren't sure how to get started in your online course, be sure to log into your Parkland email. Chances are you'll have some communication from your instructor.

In most cases, your username is your first inital, last name and a number. For example, John Smith might be jsmith23. Your password is the last five digits of your social security number.
To find your username, click on Account Lookup. If you still have problems, try the email FAQ or as a last resort, submit an email help request. |
my.Parkland.edu is your first stop for online information. You can access your schedule, register for courses, see your tuition bill and plenty more.
Once you've logged into my.Parkland, click "Angel / Cobra Learning Login" on the right side of the page. That link will take you to a page where you can see your course schedule and click on each course name to access the material for that course.
Once you've found your online course space, you should see some directions about what to do next, and how to begin working in the course. The instructor will probably have a syllabus and some course information for you to read, and may have a discussion assignment for you to complete within the first few days of the course. Be sure to complete these things quickly, so you have time to ask questions if there is something you don't understand.
Enjoy your course!
