Meet with an Advisor

Every Parkland student with less than 30 hours of earned credit must meet with an advisor or counselor before registering for classes. You can meet with an advisor by stopping by A251.

Office Hours:
Monday and Thursday - 8 am - 6:30 pm
Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday - 8 am -5:00 pm

Online Advising

You can now do your advising online. It's an easy way to talk with an advisor or counselor when you can't come to campus!

To complete your advising session online, follow these steps:

Step 1:

Make an appointment. During Spring 2008, online advising is available during the following hours:

3:00pm - 5:00pm, Monday and Wednesday

8:00am - 10:00am, Tuesday and Thursday.

To make an appointment, send an email to getadvised@parkland.edu.

Your email should contain:

* Your full name
* Parkland ID number
* How we can help you

You should receive confirmation back within two business days. You can also call our office at 217-351-2219 to schedule a session.

 

Step 2:
